Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsRepeat prescriptions can be ordered in writing using the slip attached to your last issue. Simply tick the items required and deliver/post it to the surgery. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.

You can also order online via the link at the top of this page. New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration.

We regret we are unable to take prescription requests over the telephone.

Most prescriptions now have bar-codes to facilitate the process when medication needs to be issued. The bar-coding contains information for the pharmacist.  The prescription may be scanned and the relevant names of the medicines will appear on the pharmacy computer screen. These new-style prescriptions, as with present system, can be collected by your pharmacy of choice, if you have so instructed.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
